So Serene

Hi again to all!
Well we are coming into the colder weather and I am not liking it. What is your favourite season, mine is Summer. Anyway now it is getting colder it gives me a very good excuse to stay in the craft room (not that I needed one lol) I am hoping to do a lot more crafting.
So today I made this card using the masking  technique, I love how it turned out.

I hope you do also.
Below you will find a list of products used.

Occasions Catalogue 2015 - Something Lacy

Hi all!!
Well have been busy in my world lately (arghh had no time for crafting :( )  My two younger son's have moved back home for a bit, then my parents moved in on the weekend, going from 2 in the house (nice and peaceful lol) to 6 adults in the house is quite unusual for us.
Well I had time finally to craft this morning and oh how I have missed it.

Today's card I have used the Something Lacy background stamp from the occasions catalogue. Also I missed out on getting some of the gorgeous printed vellum so I made my own using butterflies from various stamp set's.

What I did here was stamp Something Lacy using clear embossing powder an heat set, then sponged over with Blackberry Bliss.
On the Vellum I have stamped butterflies with Memento. Once dry I turned it over and adhered with fast fuse to the background I had stamped.

Sentiment is the Hostess set from the Occasions Catalogue "Because You Care"
Framelits: Chalk Talk

Well we are nearing Convention and I am so excited an that means I will have lot's to share with you in the future so be sure to stay tuned :)

Creative Blog Hop

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to my post for the Creative Blog Hop!

I was nominated by the talented and lovely Jayne over at Papillon Papercaft
This is a different sort of Blog Hop from what you normally see on my blog.  Each person that contributes nominates another talented papercrafter to carry the baton if you will.  I have met the very talented Tamie Holt  ‘Tamie Luvs to Craft 2’ and we share our love of crafting and wanted to send the baton across the border to Queensland Australia.  At the end you will be able to pop on over an check out Tamie's Blog.

Since I was only nominated this morning I was already thinking of what I was going to get up to today. Well it worked out perfect that I knew I wanted to make flower's so this is how my creation came about.

I hope you like my card!

This is a Shutter Tri-Fold Card, I love doing these cards and have been favourites for Weddings

I have used the now retired Irresistibly Yours DSP from the SAB, sponging over to create a soft background colour. The flowers are made from the Petite Petal  & Flower Shop stamp sets an matching punches.
Sentiment is from the Occasions Catalogue "Big On You" which is still available till June 2nd

Back of card for personal message

Card when closed will fit into a regular envelope

Thanks for visiting my blog

Be sure to pop over and have a look at Tamie's Blog Hop Entry.

April Crazy Crafters Family Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for the Crazy Crafters April Blog Hop, this month we are Celebrating Family!

Our host is the very talented lady....Tamie Holt.

We hope you enjoy our virtual hop where you will either learn great techniques for your paper crafting projects or just a chance to enjoy each of the ladies lovely creations! Be sure to click on the next button further down to continue your journey on this blog hop

Today I have used the panel out of the Artisan Embellishment Kit from Occasions Catalogue to create these cards.

Using the panel as a stencil, I applied Versamark using a sponge dauber and heat embossed in Clear powder. Then randomly sponged 3 different colours, wipe over with paper towel when done to get excess ink off the embossed images.

To make the panel a bit stronger for future use, clear emboss and heat set a couple of times.
